Cheskin EVP Lee Shupp Highlights Future Consumer Relationship with Imaging Technology at 6Sight

Redwood Shores, Calif. – October 15, 2007 – Understanding how the relationship between technology and customer expectations is shaping the evolution of digital imaging will be the focus of Lee Shupp’s presentation on day one of the upcoming 6Sight® Future of Imaging Conference, to be held Nov. 8 and 9 at the Monterey Conference Center, in Monterey, Calif. The conference emphasizes breakthrough technologies and key insights into the future of digital cameras, digital video, multimedia, web video and other new directions for imaging and digital photography.

In his role of executive VP at the innovation consulting firm Cheskin, and as a trained futurist, Shupp guides clients such as Microsoft and other global technology clients in understanding the role that people and culture play in driving innovation.

“The symbiotic relationship between rapidly evolving consumer behavior and pervasive digital imaging technology – how these influence each other – is key to innovation in this space,” explains Shupp. “I’m pleased to be a part of 6Sight where these types of future-thinking conversations are taking place.”

The theme for Day One of the program, which brings together technologists, marketers, futurists, artists, educators, high-volume users, industry analysts, investors and members of the media, is “The Digital Eye”: state of the art technologies being developed for imaging capture and store. Day Two focuses on “The Visual Voice”: the explosive worldwide mainstreaming of image capture, communication and sharing.
